Spooktacular Halloween Weekend at The Ice Cream Farm

We’ve got a toad-ly eerie-sistable line-up of events taking place later on this month in celebration of the spookiest day of the year… Halloween.  On 28th and 29th October, we will be fully embracing the age-old tradition with a range of activities happening across the weekend.

  • The Creepy Crawly Show* will be here on Saturday 28th October between 11am and 3pm, giving you the chance to get up close with the animals and learn everything there is to know about them… have you got what it takes to brave the spiders, snakes and scorpions?!
  • Take part in our Halloween Monster Hunt over the weekend and find the six monsters who have escaped and hidden themselves around The Ice Cream Farm. Find them and write down their locations, for the chance to win a £25 Play Pass! A  winner will be picked for both Saturday and Sunday.
  • Chester based Darron Rodgers, author of Shout Out BOO 2 will be leading a spooky story time.
  • Face painters will be on hand to transform you into witches, zombies, vampires and ghosts.

Dress to impress in your most creative fancy dress as we are also hosting a costume competition where you will be entered into a prize draw to win a £25 Play Pass. As you come through the main entrance on 28th and 29th in your spookiest outfits you will be asked to fill in a slip which will be entered into our competition cauldron. 10 runners up will also receive a £12 Play Pass so there’s all to play for!

The Ice Cream Farm wouldn’t be The Ice Cream Farm without ice cream, and just in time we’ve whipped up a batch of limited edition ‘Shocky Road’ ice cream. Think chocolate, marshmallows and digestive pieces with a popping candy twist…

We’ve also got lots of other surprises lined up across the weekend that you won’t want to miss out on… don’t worry, they’ll be treats not tricks!

* Entry to The Creepy Crawly show is £2 per person or £6 for a family. Play Passes can also be used.
