The celebrations will kick off with a storytelling picnic on Thursday 7th March, where children are invited to attend in fancy dress of their favourite character, with a selection of costumes also available. The party will also feature a storytelling session, including a reading of ‘The Gruffalo’.

The World Book Day events at The Ice Cream Farm will also continue into the weekend, with a FREE book festival on the 9t h& 10th March. Just pop into the Playhouse any time between 12-4pm, where a range of authors will be hosting storytelling sessions, including; Pauline Davies, Helen Poole, Bethan Lycett, Christine Gregory and Fiona Love.
